Flourish Pilates  offers a contemporary approach to classical Pilates. Enjoy private or duet sessions in a peaceful light filled studio. A regular Pilates practice builds balance, better posture, and can relieve pain. Pilates also releases tight muscles, creates joint mobility, body alignment and builds an awareness to breath/movement coordination. The mindful and controlled nature of Reformer Pilates promotes relaxation and stress reduction. The Reformer’s resistance and adjustable springs along with props and hundreds of varied exercises allow for a uniquely challenging yet safe workout to nourish your body and soul.

Flourish Functional Nutrition Counseling offers a therapeutic partnership that works to support and educate you on what’s going on in your body. This is achieved by considering the body as a whole instead of separate parts. The focus is on the root cause of your health concerns. This counseling can support numerous different health issues including: digestion/gut health, autoimmune issues, IBS, colitis, weight, sleep or pain management, hormonal changes or other unspecified imbalances. It’s based on the idea that food and lifestyle modifications can heal the body. Our counseling services strive to provide a therapeutic, goal-oriented style of partnership designed to strengthen personal motivation for change and provide you with more sustainable health outcomes.

Functional Nutrition Counseling

Our initial clinical services include:

A complementary 15-20 minute strategy session, to answer questions and explain the approach and to determine if we are a good fit for your counseling services.

Plus five 55 minute sessions that include an extensive Intake Form Review, to identify potential imbalances & dysfunctions. Followed by a more detailed timeline to ensure that we capture all parts of your background and experiences so that nothing gets overlooked to help us in your journey to health and healing. From that information, I develop a Functional Nutrition Matrix to visually map out how everything is connected. From there, an individually tailored Action Plan is given to you, considering nutrition, hydration, exercise, sleep, stress management, supplements, and nutraceuticals, relationships and community connections.
